I’ve had several readers ask me to post about stylish nursing tops, and I realized why I have been putting it off; They don’t exist. Well, they kind of do if you’re willing to fork over ninety-two bucks (the SALE price, down 20% from $115) for this Isabella Oliver Kimono Top. If I were presently breastfeeding, I think I might. This aside, I did manage to scrape up a few decent looking (if not somewhat attractive), more reasonably priced options. Case in point this pretty wrap cardigan, not unlike a non-nursing DKNY one I purchased a few months back. For dressier events, there’s the ‘Evita’ Maternity and Nursing Dress,’ reminiscent of a classic Diane Von Furstenberg. For even less (relatively speaking in the world of nursing garb), you can stock up on Expressiva Nursingwear ‘Best-Selling’ Tees. They’re made from cozy organic cotton, come in several colors, and are presently on sale for $27.99. Even though they’re simple, what I like about them is that they don’t have that horrid ‘flap’ under your boobs that screams, “I’m a nursing top!” Also check out Figure 8 Maternity; I like the ‘Estella’ Cross Front Top in Chocolate, for summer. If all else fails? You can always buy a Snuggie – then you’ll be able to breastfeed AND answer the phone.

I think you have to unwrap that entire ‘obi’ situation. PITA, but they didn’t ask me for easy access – just style ; )

ok, how in the world does the top one work?? do you have to unwrap the belt and take it off completely? it’s a beautiful top… but i’m not picturing an easy way to nurse… i personally really liked tops w/zippers when i nursed. or just buttons…
and – hi!! :>
