2. If you’ve got the legs, shorts are the shizznit for Spring.
3. Neutrals: Nude is the new black.
4. Loving this lingerie inspired dress from Calypso. Note: The word inspiration is key; your bra is not a shirt.

6. Feminine is back, complete with pretty pastels and rows of ruffles.
7. Safari styles infuse a sense of adventure, and add a rough-hewn edge that balance out girlish silhouettes.
8. From swimsuits to sandals, patterns and prints cover everything this season.
9. Go for sheer sheaths and translucent tees, but do yourself (and us) a favor – wear something underneath.

Last time; my photography blows and I took it on a phone in my bathroom. In other news, if you can get past the ghetto set up and lack of an actual human being, I dug this out my closet last minute to wear to a work dinner for J. Is it stunning? Maybe not, but relatively chic, comfortable, appropriate for the occasion, and most importantly…free.
I’ve recently been able to drag myself from the depths of the panic that often ensues when one has to pull together an outfit for a particular event. It used to be “ShitIhavetorunoutandbuyadressrightnow,” while recently I’ve been opening my closet around 4:30 PM, only to stare blankly at its contents. (Whether this is due to the economic climate, time restrictions as a result of motherhood, or lack of truly giving a crap, I’m unsure.) This is what I came up with, and if I can do it you can too.

Stella McCartney 'Amber Chatting' Triangle Bra and French Knickers
Don’t know what’s up with me and Stella M.C. lately, but amazing, right…? I guess if you have a body that would make those shorts hang off your ass like that…and don’t mind trying to do up four side buttons while you’re rushing out the door with dried Yo Baby in your hair…and what about all that impractical, bunchy, shirring in the back? Not to mention the paycheck to cover it…why did I post about these again…?

'My Skins' Convertible Bra $48
This is an invaluable site. As I’m sure most of you know (and many of you do not), if you don’t want to see your bra through your white t-shirt, you wear a ‘nude’ bra. By nude, I am referring to the color of your skin. I cannot stress this enough. STOP wearing white bras under white t-shirts! You look like you’re walking around in your bra! I’ll stop yelling. The genius of My Skins, is their color matching system; You download a color chart directly from their site, and choose the color that best matches your skin tone. Easy, right? They also have a ‘Fitting Room’ to help you properly measure. As if this isn’t genius enough? They’ve managed to kill two birds with one stone – all of their bras and panties are completely seamless, eliminating your muffin top (if in fact you have one) and panty lines. What I love, is that they only have three bra styles and three panty styles, and they fully explain how each one meets your needs. I for one, can often feel overwhelmed with bra choices since they seem to be innumerable. Oh, and if your t-shirt is black? Your bra should be too.

Pattie Boyd
Impossibly chic – even in a nightdress – it’s easy to see why she will forever be immortalized as ‘Layla.’

Cosabella 'Rosangel' Soft Cup Bra and Boyshorts $33.90 each
As you may have noticed, there are several things for which I am on a perpetual search to find their ‘perfect version’ (jeans and an evening bag, being just two of the items with which I have been recently haunted). Another one is a bra comfortable enough, yet pretty enough to wear under a tank; a pet peeve of mine being the thick, nude, ugly, bra strap on display. Cosabella, albeit pricey, is one of my all time favorite brands of lingerie. The fit, color selection, and comfort level of their lowrider thongs, is unparalleled. This set has been recently marked down, and although thirty-three bucks is still pretty steep for a pair of boyshorts, it isn’t so bad for a lovely little bra whose straps we won’t mind seeing for once!
