Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the platform wedge is the shoe for spring. I happen to love them since they are ‘rod-in-the-leg’ approved (read: easy to walk in). I purchased this pair for a mere fifty bucks, since I thought they reminded me of Clergerie (use your imagination) and look super cute on. Just a few of my faves for the dudes on your list! FYI for the seemingly randoms; the Noonon Polo is stupid soft cotton and an incredible fit. I bought one for J, I should have bought five. The jeans also have an amazing cut and wash, not to mention they’re eco, and for just forty bucks…?! I’m not a fan of ‘fashion’ sneakers (*shudder*), so keep it simple and classic with a sturdy pair of JPs. If you’re looking to splurge, do it on to-die-for cuff links he’ll adore, or a modern-classic Paul Smith wallet, because who doesn’t love Paul Smith?? (If you don’t, keep it to yourself.)

These are too good to pass up! The shift (originally marked at $275) is a gorgeous, versatile, classic that can be dressed either up or down, depending. It will save you countless times from the ‘I have a formal event WTF do I wear?’ dilemma. You will have it forever, I promise. The booties (down from $99)? Same deal versatility wise, however they probably won’t save you, and will last only several seasons in lieu of forever. That’s not really the same deal at all now that I think about it, but for seventy bucks…?
