I love these for fall. I know it’s only July, but I’m sick to death of perusing maillots and flip flops. I found the fall collections to be both exciting and inspiring, chock full of black and metal and rock and roll – digging. I actually think I like the F 21 version better, if that’s possible; a little more edge, a bit less precious. $832.20 less precious to be exact!

I’m a firm believer that it’s often the simplest outfits that make the biggest statement – that’s simple, not boring. This also comes in yellow, which felt was a little bit ‘in your face’ for me, but I think that the grey chiffon along with the satin ribbon is really lovely! I picture it with a white ribbed cotton tank, dark wash cropped jeans, and pair of soft Lanvin-esque ballet flats – effortless, chic, comfortable, and versatile enough to go from your (my?) busy day of schlepping, right into an early summer supper or sunset cocktail; that’s what I’m picturing, not what I’m actually doing. Maybe if I picked up this necklace I would…food for thought.
